Financials and Accounting
- •Retrofits and new decals complete on the Fire & Rescue Trailer — $17,845.06. Action: Bruce to speak with Shelley about the remaining F&S budget (e.g. brakes for water trailers).
- •12 members with unpaid dues — Odoo sends automatic reminders until paid. Continuing to work on removing the fire truck from the books.
- •Continuing to e-transfer money for AED enclosure material costs to Lyle Ollenburger (decided to e-transfer to Kelly and provide Lyle with cash, due to password issues).
Correspondence & Membership Maintenance
- •No mass email since the last BOD — Bruce to write an update covering Fire Trailer updates, F&S budget, updated fire and safety procedure document, and GSDC updates.
- •One person has stepped forward to help with July 1 Canada Day events, but no one has stepped forward to lead — action: Kelly to post for Social Committee volunteers/lead on the KVCA Village Facebook group.
Common Areas Agreement Update
- •Steve Eccelstone (President of 771) still reviewing, has not yet signed.
- •Tom Harding has stepped down as 832 Strata president; Jeff Brownridge (new president) has signed on behalf of 832.
Community Activities and Committees
- •Status of the Social Activities Committee and Road & Area Maintenance Committee — no lead yet for July 1; Bruce to reach out to Darryl Binnion to book Shanks for the Christmas Social.
- •No funds yet reallocated from Strata 771 for snow clearing — Bruce has obtained previous snow-clearing contracts from Brian Bell and forwarded them to Rick to investigate/contact past contractors; Colin will assist.
Fire & Safety Update
- •2nd AED Housing complete and installed by the marina gate, connected to electricity.
- •Fire Trailer build retrofit complete, installed beside the AED near the marina gate, connected to electricity — came in under budget. Action: Bruce to speak to Shelley re: remaining F&S budget.
Green Space Development Committee Update
- •Leanne provided an overview of the GSDC and its master plan; reviewed the GSDC green space survey. Decided to remove the membership-dues-increase question from the survey and keep it focused on one green space area (Strata 771, across from the former firetruck location).
- •Once green space plans are finalized, GSDC will send a budget to KVCA for approval. Lake access beside Roger & Karen Sontag’s lot has not been discussed yet but will be added to future review items.
- •Jeff reviewed electrical setup requirements for the 771 lakeside green space, pending a BC Hydro account and design-cost review.
Up to $4,000 approved for Jeff to access once connection-design cost is known from BC Hydro
