The Koocanusa Village surveillance camera system is now fully operational. The system was purchased and installed through a partnership between KVP Inc., Tough Country, and the Koocanusa Village Community Association (KVCA).
Three cameras were purchased, jointly, and have been installed throughout the community at the following areas:
- •Main Road Entrance — a pan-tilt-zoom camera monitors the main road entrance at the gate.
- •Camera 2, Marina Parking Area — monitors the marina parking area and the rear entrance of the store.
- •Camera 3, Marina Entrance — monitors the entrance area at the marina and records boats entering and leaving.
Video Retrieval Requests
If an incident occurs and surveillance footage could help identify vehicles or individuals who may have been involved, a video search and retrieval request may be submitted through the KVCA.
Please email requests to info@kvca.ca and provide as much detail about the incident as possible, including the date, approximate time, location, and any identifying information.
